The World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) is the global organization for the engineering profession. Founded in 1968, under the auspices of UNESCO, WFEO brings together national engineering institutions from some 100 nations and represents more than 30 million engineers.

1st meeting of the IDSSD Executive Ctee
The first meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development 2024-2033 (IDSSD) took place at the UNESCO HQ in Paris, on 4 September 2024. WFEO President Mustafa Shehu attended the meeting.

We are pleased to announce that Marie-Line Vaiani, Chair of the WFEO Energy Committee and Secretary General of the French Energy Council, has been appointed as a member of the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET).
WFEO-UNESCO Agreement
The Framework Agreement between WFEO and UNESCO has been renewed. WFEO President Mustafa Shehu and UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences Dr. Lidia Brito signed the Agreement which will expire in March 2032.
